Building community together: TTL celebrates new Decatur office with ribbon-cutting, open house

More than 60 elected officials, dignitaries, and community partners turned out Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, to celebrate TTL’s “new” office and laboratory facilities at 229 Grant St. in downtown Decatur, AL.

This new location, which TTL moved to back in March, was filled with community leaders, clients, and friends who gathered to mark this milestone and tour the innovative workspace, which showcases TTL’s dedication to delivering integrated infrastructure solutions for public and private clients.

The event also was an opportunity to see firsthand how TTL continues to invest in the growth and development of Decatur-Morgan County. Among those on hand were Decatur Mayor Tab Bowling, Decatur City Councilman Kyle Pike, and City of Priceville Mayor Sam Heflin, alongside representatives from the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce and numerous local businesses.

Partners like United Launch Alliance, GE Appliances, and Decatur Morgan County Tourism joined community members, educators, and business leaders in showing their support.

All in all, we were thrilled by the community turnout for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that symbolized more than just the opening of a new office. It also celebrated TTL’s lasting partnership with the Decatur-Morgan County area and their continued contributions to its development.

“Our new location on Grant Street positions us to more effectively serve our North Alabama clients,” said Jeni Jordan, PE, a project engineer in the Decatur office. “And the additional space and proximity to downtown will allow us new opportunities to give back to the community.”
